Orchids Mary Fisher, an orchid hobbyist from Philadelphia, bought Dan Sagaert's Orchid Nursery in Lake Worth, Florida, in 1999. Sagaert is well known as a pioneer in the hybridization of orchids, as well as superior cultivation techniques. Dan had been growing orchids for thirty three years when he passed the baton to Mary who in turn retained Dan as a consultant for three years.
